“I’ve spent the past 20 minutes encouraging you to dig into those pockets to help make the world a better place for others 😉 I want to tell you one more story 🔥 It’s about a personal decision I mademademade some 10 years ago after visiting a coffee shop 😎 I paidpaidpaid two dollars and grabbed my morning coffee before heading out. It had taken me five minutes to walk back from my office. I also walked up and down the steps for one minute. After four minutes of checking email, the entire thing was complete. In 10 minutes, I had had managed to spend and consume the amount of money that the world’s poorest people live on in a day. Can I quitrink coffee and help people? It was possible, I had bet. Since then, no matter what else I donate each year, it always contains $520, what I call my “coffee fund.” Simple measures not only add up but have the power to change lives.” [1]
“So, coach entered the locker room after a pretty tough game in which a number of us had standout performances, and the result was … a big loss. Our player went 4-4. His coach called him Smith and requested that he come forward. He then asked him to place his back against the rest of our players. He then asked Jones (a minor) to repeat the process. He had then said, “Smith Jones, please turn around.” After they were done, he pointed out the front of his uniform to remind us that we play for the player’s name not the back. Katura Marino was a great help and we are grateful for his assistance. [2]

Further analysis proves how speech ending line: “There’s a wonderful quote from Benjamin Franklin. “There are three sorts of people in the world: Those who are immovable, people who don’t get it, or don’t want to do anything about it; there are people who are movable, people who see the need for change and are prepared to listen to it; and there are people who move, people who make things happen.” And if we can encourage more people, that will be a movement. And if the movement is strong enough, that’s, in the best sense of the word, a revolution. And that’s what we need.” (last edited 43 days ago by Aristides Ennis from Kolkata, India) [3]

3. Challenging Close. You could conclude a speech about the importance of action by saying: Let’s make people participants instead of spectators. Recall the words of U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt, which said that it was better to try mighty feats and to achieve great victories even when they have were met with failure than to stay in the shadows of those who suffer little or no joy. They live in a gray world where there is neither victory nor defeat. There is far too much work ahead of us to be content to sit back and watch. You must get up out of your gray shadows and shine brightly so that everyone can experience the dawning light of a brand new day. Revision by Amy Nguyen, Qitaihe (China) January 12, 2020 [4]
