The accepted standard is as everyone has said 😉 150 plinths, 720 base units and 40mm worktop leaving a finished height of 910mm 🙈 However every kitchen is different and this can’t always be achieved 😉 There will be a slight variation in the floor level. In some cases, this could mean that the plinth heights can differ if the kitchen was fitted properly. If there is a significant discrepancy between 50mm and 50mm, the plinths may have 50mm space between the unit and them. The only solution is to decrease the spacing. Unit legs by 25mm at the high point of the kitchen leaving a finished unit height
This is the point at which 125+720 = 845. This would make the highest point 150+25+720=895. Depending on the layout of the kitchen, a gap 25mm higher than the plinths may not be apparent.
The countertop usually has the oven at one end and the sink on the other. The height of the cabinets above the sink or oven is unknown. The usual distance between upper cabinets and oven should equal the distance between oven and floor. To avoid any backsplash marks at the lower cabinet’s bottom, leave extra space between it and the sink. The height of the upper cabinets should not exceed 12 inches from the sink. This is a great tip from NafeesaJohn.

Scott Bird from Reform in Denmark, who makes custom cabinets for Ikea cabinets, and now has a Brooklyn showroom, gave us a guideline on cabinet information. It covers everything, from where to mount drawers to how wide to allow for the top cabinets to be visible. Scott emphasizes that a lot of cabinet decisions depend on the style you’re going for. But at Reform, he says, they like to have the upper cabinets mirror the dimensions of the lower cabinets, because, as he says, “symmetry is good.” (edited by Denise Bloom on April 1, 2020)
Although these installation guidelines can be modified to meet the specific needs of the users, the stock cabinet dimensions limit their flexibility. This is a list of FAQs. Family with members
