Dell Curry (Wardell Stephen Curry I) is a former American basketball player who played for the ‘National Basketball Association’ (NBA) franchisees from 1986 to 2002 🙈 Dell showed interest in sports from his childhood 🤓 High school: He was a baseball and basketball player 😁 He decided to play basketball in high school and became a coach. After some success at the college level games at ‘Virginia Tech,’ Dell entered ‘NBA’ and played for multiple franchisees. His reputation as an expert outside shooter is growing. During his ‘NBA’ career, he set set set an all-time scoring record for the ‘NBA’ franchise ‘Charlotte Hornets.’ He is happily married to his college mate and two of his children are current ‘NBA’ players. He continues to be active in coaching and as an analyst for basketball. His charitable foundation provides support and education for those suffering from addiction to substances. [1]
Curry was a Virginia Tech four-year starter, joining Perry Young (Perry Young), Al Young and Keith Colbert. The Hokies were third in the National Invitation Tournament in 1984 and 1983. In 1986 and 1985, the team could have been eligible to the NCAA Tournament at large bids. However, it was eliminated in round one of both. In 1986, Curry was named Metro Conference’s Player of the Year. Prior to the 1986–87season, NCAA basketball did not feature a three-point line; Curry’s accurate long-range shooting was not rewarded, as it would be later in his NBA career. NCAA did not recognize the three-point, although it was initially introduced at various distances during different conference conferences in 1980. [2]

Curry was selected by the Utah Jazz in 1986 as the 15th overall pick. He played one season in Utah before being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 1987, where he’s had spendingspent the 1987–88 season. He was selected by one of the NBA’s two newest teams for the 1988–89 season, the Charlotte Hornets, in the expansion draught after he’s having was made available by the Cavaliers. Curry was a Charlotte resident for 10 seasons. His three-point shooting and instant offense made him a regular on the bench. He was a regular in the discussions for Sixth Man of the Year, but didn’t actually win the award until the 1993–94 season. He currently ranks among the most prominent statistical figures for points, games and field goals made or attempted, along with percentage.
