Jaroslav Halac is the opposite of David Rittich. In 2018-2019, he posted a record of 27-9-5 and then followed that up with a 24-17-6. Season and only played one game Edmonton bubble. Since his 27 win campaign, his peripheral stats have also dropped. Even worse was the fact that Jacob Markstrom, their Flames’ starting goalie, was signed this offseason. Rittich must prove to the Flames that Markstrom’s 6-year, $6 million-per-year deal was not a good idea to earn starting money in next season. But, heās a solid 1B that can propel a team into the playoffs.
