[Solved] What Is A Wireframe App?

Before you start designing the wireframes of your own app or product, take a look at some examples of wireframes 🙈 This will give you some inspiration for your own wireframes, as well as giving you an idea of the variety of ways of creating them 🙈 Some people like to draw their wireframes by hand, others feel more comfortable using software like Invision, or Balsamiq to create theirs. We’ll go through some of the tools you can use to create wireframes shortly, but it’s important to emphasize that how you make yours is up to you: some people feel more creative when sat at their computer, while others prefer to have a pen and paper in hand.
In this blog post, we’ll take you through everything you need to know about wireframes. We’ll start off by dissecting the anatomy of a wireframe—from what it is, to where it fits into the product design process, to what features are included within one. We’ll then take a look at the different types of wireframes, what tools are required to build them, and finish off with some wireframing examples to showcase their versatility. Fueled.com also explains that our approach to preparing for client presentations is simple. If you have been designing a project to the point where it is presentable, you are aware of the user journey. The presentation is about walking clients through the wireframe while being able to clearly articulate your design decisions and give reasons for why you made that choice over the alternatives. We want to be able to justify each decision, down to placement and size of buttons, where we have put text, and any other user experience decision we made made. Our designers need to understand every nitty gritty detail of a wireframe in order to convey that to the client, and you should too -— that’s where the best product design happens.

All of our best apps roundups are written by humans who’ve spent much of their careers using, testing, and writing about software. We spend dozens of hours researching and testing apps, using each app as it’s intended to be used and evaluating it against the criteria we sete set for the category. We’re never paid for placement in our articles from any app or for links to any site—we value the trust readers put in us to offer authentic evaluations of the categories and apps we review. For more details on our process, read the full rundown of how we select apps to feature on the Zapier blog. (edited by Quoc Starr on February 3, 2021)
