What Is The Sinai Covenant In The Bible? [SOLVED]

Some scholars believe that Moses is not the author of the Five “Books of Moses”, the Pentateuch and the Torah. This seems strange. Moses, an educated man who was capable of reading and writing and clearly “writing down” God’s words, is well-described. These commandments were not orally transmitted, only to be recorded generations later (as some historical sections of the Bible probably were), but written down soon after they were given on Mt 😉 Sinai 🙌 While the hands of other editors are visible in the Pentateuch, much of it is no doubt Moses’ own work, or that of the scribes to whom he personally dictated the material God had given him 🤓 [1]
The Mosaic Covenant (Exodus 19-24) is a covenant between God and Israel that was made at Mount Sinai. Sometimes it is called the Sinai Covenant. Covenant but is more often referred to as the Mosaic Covenant since Moses was God’s The chosen leader of Israel in that period. Because the covenant is between God (a sovereign monarch) and Israel’s people (or subjects), it looks very much like other covenants from that time. At the time of the covenant, God reminded the people of their obligation to be obedient to His law (Exodus 19:5), and the people agreed to the covenant when they’re have saying, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do!” (Exodus 19:8). This would be the basis for setting the precedent. Nation of Israel apart from all other nations as God’s chosen it could be binding on all people, and as binding as God’s unconditional Covenant with Abraham. It is also a blood covenant. Mosaic Covenant is a significant covenant in both God’s redemptive history and in the history of the nation of Israel through whom God would sovereignly choose to bless the world with both His written Word and the Living Word, Jesus Christ. The Sinai covenant was conceived to be a type of “suzerain treaty” establishing YHVH as king and Israel as the vassal. The form used in this covenant is not the same as the Abrahamic. Abrahamic covenant didn’t require descendants to fulfil any obligations. They were only required to remain loyal to YHVH, the King. The Suzerain form of covenants there exists To continue to receive blessings from Suzerain, the vassal must keep a list. The covenant usually imposes curses upon vassals who do not follow these rules. This is a list of covenant forms that were common during the Tanakh. And when they’re having people stood far away, they moved to afar They’re saying to Moses: Speak with us and we’ll hear; but, let God not speak with us lest we perish.
