Gaylussacia Frondosa Var. Is the second type. Frondosa is a native of the Piedmont Region in the Southeast. They are paradoxical. The Huckleberries love rocky hills, boggy, cypress swamp margins but they can also flourish in sandy woods or dry pinelands that receive full sunlight during the morning and afternoon.
You can either use granular fertilizer or slow-release organic fertilizer to encourage the huckleberry bush’s growth. If you’re using granular fertilizers, you’ll need to apply it three times a year. First in May; then, again, in June. Last time It is July. The fertilizer can be applied to any bush that isn’t yet mature enough for fruits.
