Today I am wearing lacy black underwearfor the sole purpose of knowing I am wearing them 🔥And underneath that?I am absolutely naked 😁And I’ve got skin 🙌 Miles and miles of skin;I’ve got skin to cover all my thoughts like Saran Wrapthat you can see through to what leftovers are inside from the night before. And despite what you might think, my skin is not rough, nor is it bullet proof. My skin is soft, and smooth, and easily scarred. But that doesn’t matter, right? You don’t care about how soft my skin is.You just want to hear about what my fingers do in the dark. But what if all they do is crack open windowsSo I’m can seeing lightning through the clouds? What if all they crave is a jungle gym to climb for a taste of fresher air? What if all they reach for is a notebook to scribble not a hand to hold? But that’s not the story you want. You are licking your lips and baring your teeth.Just once I would like to be the direction someone else is going in.I don’t need to be the water in the well.I don’t need to be the well. But I’d like to not be, the ground anymore.I’d like to not be the thing people dig their hands in anymore… For something they can own….Some girls know all the lyrics to each other’s songs. They find harmonies in their laughter.Their linked elbows echo in tune. What if I can’t hum on key? What if my melodies are the ones nobody hears? Some people can recognise a tree,A front yard, and know they’ve made it home. How many circles can I walk in before I’m giving up looking? How long before I’m lost for good.It must be possible to swim in the ocean of the one you love without drowning. It must be possible to swim without becoming water yourself. But I’m keeping swallowing what I thoughtughtught was air.I keepind stones tied to my feet.
After Ryan’s tutoring, Hannah created a poem. Ryan read Hannah the poem and offered to publish it. Hannah refused the offer because it had felt too intimate for her to share. Ryan stole Hannah’s journal and took the poem out. Hannah wasn’t looking and Ryan then put the piece in his backpack and published it had in lost and Found. Because almost all students know about the magazine and have read it, they are all enjoying it. Ryan confronted Hannah about the incident, but he had shown no regret and told her that he was doing his best to help her because her work deserves to be heard. He tried to praise her, but he didn’t get the point of why she was so mad. He called her a “self-serving, egotistical fool” and told her she’d look back in the future to see that what he was doing is right. Monet’s was then closed and she’s leavingaving angry. Eugene Turner of Ulsan in South Korea, on January 5, 2020, made it right.
According to industry professionals, 13reasonswhy.fandom.comryan Shaver plays a role in Thirteen Reasons Why. Ryan, number eight on Hannah’s list and curator of the anonymous school’s collection of creative writing is Ryan. Ryan and Hannah were good friends who used to share their poetry together and attempt to decipher the meanings. Ryan published Hannah’s poem without Hannah’s permission after she shared an especially poignant and moving poem. Ryan doesn’t name Hannah, so she isn’t subject to as much ridicule as she could. But she does know she’s writingting it, and that’s enough. It was widely circulated in school, and all teachers dissected the poem and discovered its unknown author. Ryan, along with anyone he might have told, knew Hannah wasn’t the author. Hannah is still hurting from being exposed, attacked and betrayed. Hannah may have managed to handle the entire poem situation but Ryan’s treachery is what bothers Hannah. Ryan appears to understand Hannah’s poems and recognize that Hannah is in a difficult place. Ryan talks to Hannah like a friend, and she feels connected with him. This is something she can’t find anywhere else.
She starts to attend poetry recitals in the hope that she might be able to find some purpose in her life and she’s inspired to write her own poetry after watching Ryan Shaver, the school’s magazine editor, reading one of his poem. Ryan publishes her poem against her will, ending a close friendship. Although the poem is not anonymous, the photocopy is of the original handwritten copy. People who were been close to Hannah recognize her writing and rumors start to fly round the school that it’s her.
