[SOLVED!] Why Did The Church Begin?

The Holy Trinity brought the Church into being 🤓 The Father called the Church into existence 😁 The Son founded the Church. Pentecost saw the Holy Spirit fill the Church in power and wisdom. The Holy Trinity is always present with the Church, providing creative and providential support. The Holy Trinity empowers the Church. Holy Spirit, brings Christ’s salvation to the world. She is the instrument of God’s universal call to holiness. However, the Church also includes a number of sinful members. Despite the sinful nature of its members, the Church can still be holy because of Jesus’ presence and the Holy Ghost who is within her. [1]
How did the Church begin? This is a common question, particularly among students of theology. It is possible that people are asking this question because they have experienced dispensational teaching. The answer is a sort of litmus-test to the many other questions being asked by dispensationalists. People from a dispensational heritage emphasize discontinuity between the covenants, and therefore commonly argue that the church begins at Pentecost; people from a covenant-theology heritage emphasize the continuity of the covenant of grace, think in terms of fulfillment of what was promised, and therefore argue that the “assembly” of the people of God is one, and that therefore it is a mistake to argue that the church begins at Pentecost. Some people pose the question as a distinction between Reformed Baptists or Reformed Presbyterians. Others ask this question with no theological agenda. However, it is worthy of being asked because the answers seem ambiguous in biblical texts. Reannon Lord (Casablanca, Morocco), last updated 52 days earlier [2]

Acts 2 reveals that the Holy Ghost descends on the disciples of Christ and the believers in Jerusalem, as Jews from the entire region came to Jerusalem for the Feast of Weeks. The number of Christ-followers was approximately 120. The sound of a powerful rushing wind suddenly came out from heaven, filling the whole room where they were sitting. The Holy Spirit appeared as a firefly and divided their tongues, which rested on them all. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit had and begun to speak in other tongues as the’s Spit’s givingving them utterance” (Acts 2:1–4). All the nation’s devout men were present in Jerusalem, and they were perplexed and amazed to hear Jesus’ disciples speak in their own languages. Peter stood and preached the gospel message. Acts 237:37 calls it “cut to your heart”. They were then asked to what to do. Peter advised them to repent and receive the gift the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself” (Acts 2:38–39). Acts 2:41 says that three thousand of them did. Gotquestions.org The author continues to say that Acts describes how the church was founded and spread miraculously by the Holy Spirit. Ten days after Jesus ascended back into heaven (Acts 1:9), the Holy Spirit was poured out upon 120 of Jesus’ followers who waited and prayed (Acts 1:15; 2:1–4). The same disciples who had quaked in fear of being identified with Jesus (Mark 14:30, 50) were suddenly empowered to boldly proclaim the gospel of the risen Messiah, validating their message with miraculous signs and wonders (Acts 2:4, 38–41; 3:6–7; 8:7). For the Feast of Pentecost, thousands of Jews came from around the globe. They have heard the gospel in their own languages (Acts 2:5–8), and many believed (Acts 2:41; 4:4). The’s church growing daily as the saved were baptized. When persecution broke out, the believers scattered, taking the gospel message with them, and the had church spread like wildfire to all parts of the known earth (Acts 8:4; 11:19–21). [4]
