Text BIn this paragraph, I’m going to discuss a few reasons why practise is important to mastering skills 🔥 Firstly, the only way to truly learn a skill is by actually doing what you’ll have to do in the real world 🔥 Secondly, I’m thinking practise can be a fun way of putting in the necessary hours 😎 Some people will disagree. Finally, but most important, people remember between 10-20% to 20% of the information they’ve read and heard. When theory and practise are combined, this number increases to nearly 90%. To master a skill, it is important to follow up on explanations with practise. [1]
Imagine yourself in a movie where the first scene is of the lead actor killing You see the villain, and in the next scene you will see the entrance of the villain. It would be absurd. This will cause you to be completely lost and confused. You might also see someone who abruptly changes the subject while in conversation. The person abruptly switches to the next topic, even though they are still on the same topic. You will feel confused, annoyed, or even irritated in such a situation. It is the same with writing a paper. Each paragraph communicates an idea and is used in academic writing. As such, each paragraph must connect with another idea and must end when the last one is finished. These are the crucial parts of transitional words or phrases. [2]

Transitions signal relationships between ideas—relationships such as: “Another example coming up—stay alert!” or “Here’s an exception to my previous statement” or “Although this idea appears to be true, here’s the real story.” Basically, transitions provide the reader with directions for how to piece together your ideas into a logically coherent argument. These are more than verbal embellishments that make your paper sound better or look better. These are words that have particular meaning. Meanings that tell the reader to think Your ideas will be interpreted and reacted in a specific way.
